Meet the Doctors

“It’s all about helping our patients to maximize their vision and living their lives to the fullest,” says Dr. George Salib, a specialist in cataract and LASIK surgery who has special interest in multifocal lens implantation (lifestyle lenses that allow vision at various distances). Dr. Salib is a nationally recognized expert and leader in ophthalmology, frequently lecturing and educating fellow doctors nationwide. He has published numerous articles in the ophthalmic literature and has written and edited several book chapters.

Dr. Satvinder Gujral is a board-certified ophthalmologist and clinical professor at UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute. She has been practicing ophthalmology all over the world for over 20 years, during which she has performed various eye procedures, volunteered in numerous camps, and trained, researched, and lectured on the latest innovations in eye care.

Dr. Patel graduated from the University of California in Irvine, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences. She received her M.D. at Loyola University of Chicago, Stritch School of Medicine and completed her Preliminary Medicine internship at Kaiser Hospital in San Francisco, CA. Dr. Patel completed her residency in ophthalmology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, TX and her fellowship in comprehensive ophthalmology at the prestigious Jules Stein Institute at UCLA.
