Meet Our Staff

Susie values helping our patients and has a genuine concern for their eye health as well as providing a welcoming experience for them at the Orange County Eye Institute. What Susie enjoys most about her job is that our doctors and entire staff share her aspiration to provide our patients with the highest level of eye care. On the weekends, she enjoys potlucks with friends, get-togethers with family, live music, walking her doodle, gardening, visiting elderly neighbors, dancing, playing cards, and day trips.

Ariana is one of the receptionists at the Orange County Eye Institute. She enjoys working with our providers to deliver the best care for our patients. “My favorite part of being a receptionist for OCEI is interacting with the patients and working in a friendly environment.” She enjoys going out with her friends when she is not at the office. She also likes to bake scrumptious pastries and watch horror movies.

Aren is one of our awesome front-office team members. She enjoys working with patients and helping them set up appointments. She is delighted to say that she has been working at the Orange County Eye Institute since 2020. Working here has taught her the importance of properly caring for your eyesight and eye health. Outside the office, she likes going to baseball games, concerts, and the movies with her husband. Aren enjoys an occasional cocktail with her friends.

Jennifer is one of our receptionists at the Orange County Eye Institute. Her favorite thing about working at OCEI is seeing the smiles on patients’ faces after they see our providers. While working at OCEI, Jennifer has learned the importance of keeping up with one’s eye care. Outside the office, you may find her walking while enjoying the sunset and blasting music. Jennifer is also a certified lash extension technician.

Jeanna enjoys making cataract surgery a smooth process for every OCEI patient. She will be more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have when it comes to cataract surgery. She especially enjoys checking in with our patients for their one-day post-op follow-up and hearing their great positive feedback. In her spare time outside OCEI, Jeanna loves spending time outdoors in activities such as hiking, beach picnicking, camping, visiting the vineyards, listening to different music genres, and dancing along to the tune. She also enjoys having family over for a taste of her cooking.

Victoria’s favorite thing about working at OCEI is having the ability to interact with our amazing patients and staff, all while learning about ocular health. “Outside the office, I enjoy reading, trying new foods/restaurants, dancing, and being outdoors. In the future, I hope to pursue a career in healthcare to help underserved communities and travel the world.”

Nicole is an ophthalmic technician and scribe at OCEI. In her free time, she enjoys rollerblading and biking on the beach. She also loves to hang out with friends, travel, baking, and watching international soccer. In the future, she hopes to use the skills she learned at OCEI to become a physician.

Zareen graduated from UC San Diego in 2022 with a B.S. in global health and a minor in psychology. “I learn something new every day here at OCEI, and I hope to use these experiences in the future as a prospective medical student.”

Janice's favorite things about working here at the OCEI are assisting providers during eye exams and seeing how happy patients are after cataract surgery. Outside the office, she loves painting, attending dance classes, and weightlifting at the gym. Janice is also on day 31 of a 10,000-step streak.

Matthew is one of our newest technicians and is ready to help take care of you during your visit here at the Orange County Eye Institute. He is passionate about putting a smile on patients’ faces and brightening their day while working with them. In his free time, Matthew can be found at the gym, watching the Lakers with his family, or hiking and playing basketball with his friends.

Hrithik is a student at UCI with a passion for becoming an Ophthalmologist. “I’m majoring in Microbiology and Immunology. When I’m not hitting the books, you’ll find me playing basketball or at the gym.” He is determined to make a difference in eye care and getting to know his patients on a personal level. “Life’s all about finding balance, and I’m ready to tackle the challenges on this journey to becoming an ophthalmologist.”

Miguel is one of our friendly technicians at the Orange County Eye Institute. His favorite thing about working at the office is being able to make our patients smile and working with our lovely staff. Miguel loves creating traditional and digital artwork and playing basketball when not at the office.

Lulu is a multi-talented asset to our team, as she wears two hats at our office! In addition to using her excellent people skills and organizational abilities to oversee the back office staff, she also manages our marketing and business development. When she’s not expertly juggling her dual roles at the office, you might find her enjoying some shopping, camping, or movies with her husband and two daughters.

Meet Ingy, our talented Practice Administrator who brings our team a perfect blend of efficiency and warmth. With a passion for organization and a heart full of compassion, Ingy keeps our practice running smoothly and ensures that every member of our staff and patient feels valued and cared for.

Beyond her role in the office, Ingy’s interests and hobbies reflect her warm and nurturing personality. When she’s not managing the practice, you can often find her in the kitchen whipping up delicious meals or spending quality time with her loved ones. She cherishes every moment spent with her family, whether engaging in fun outdoor activities, sharing hearty meals, or simply enjoying lazy movie nights. Ingy loves reading and has an eye for aesthetics and a talent for house decorating.
